Please note: This position is contingent upon award of contract. Location: Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
Manage a dynamic, well established, aviation fuels team by performing all necessary functions to insure clean, dry, jet, gas and diesel fuel is available for the Airlines and Cargo Operators serving a large hub domestic airport, when and where it is needed, by providing overall management of jet fuel bulk fuel storage and distribution facilities and related system hydrant piping and ground service equipment (GSE) fueling storage and dispensing facilities.
Responsible for the overall management and execution of the receipt, storage, handling and dispensing of jet fuel through two jet fuel receiving, storage and dispensing facilities from pipeline receiving point to delivery at the hydrant pit or truck rack.
Responsible for the overall management and execution of the receipt, storage, handling and dispensing of gas and diesel through three GSE receipt, storage and dispensing facilities.
Responsible for the overall management and execution of the maintenance and operation of all pipe, hydrant, pumps, filters, containment, and all related equipment for the five facilities.
Responsible for the overall management and execution of fuel quality assurance, ensuring all necessary tests and records are maintained and distributed in a timely fashion, according to the A4A 103, latest revision.
Responsible for overall management and execution of the reconciliation of fuel receipts and into plane fuel tickets according to information supplied by into plane agents, and insuring inventory holders maintain adequate inventory at all times.
Responsible for overall management of records for the receipt and dispensing of FTZ bonded fuels and reporting same to FTZ Broker.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, transportation companies, into plane operators, airport, and employees through professional, ethical behavior, communication and regular visits.
Always seek opportunities to reduce costs and/or improve operations of all five facilities.
Coordinate fuel disruptions through A4A, maintaining and reporting to Department of Aviation officials the status of interruptions.
Serve Management and the internal team as you would a Customer, seeking to work together to solve any fuel supply or fuel services issues that will arise.
Prepare weekly progress reports to Management including successes and challenges.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum 10 years of experience managing storage facilities at a large hub domestic airport.
Ability to work in US without Company sponsorship
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work overtime as required
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Work, and Outlook
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
