    LB Services is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill a Fuels Accountant position in the Middle East (Kuwait/Qatar/Iraq) to support the US Army at various sites.

    Under the daily supervision of the Lead Fuels Distribution System Operator with assistance as needed from the Fuel Manager. The Fuels Accountant is the focal point for dispatching, accounting and inventory management of all receipt, storage, internal handling, and shipment of petroleum products

     

    Responsibilities

    ·             Responsible for the dispatching, accounting and inventory management of all receipt, storage, internal handling, and shipment of petroleum products

    ·             Responsible as a dispatcher to be the focal point for all mobile activity and also for all data flow.

    ·             Manage the movement of the vehicles and fueling personnel to the customer’s satisfaction plus control all repetitive fuels reporting

    ·             Responsible for all accounting functions needed for proper inventory management, to include ordering product receipts, inputting all fuel movements, tracking tank inventories and maintaining a ledger for government reporting.

    ·             Prepare and submit reports or other verifying documentation as required for both local contract requirements and LBS requirements.

    ·             Schedule site activities to optimize resources and facilities to meet the Performance Work Statement specifications.

    ·             Responsible for assisting the Lead FDSO in operational activities, personnel scheduling, training, safety and managerial functions in the absence of the Fuels Manager

    ·             Understands and abides by the standards set forth for ethical behavior and integrity as detailed in the Code of Business Conduct.

    ·             Performs all other duties prescribed by management.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of FMD9 and BSME systems
    • Be experienced in the accounting and inventory requirements of DoD 4140.25M. 
    • Fluent English reading and writing skills to be able to read and understand government guidance for day to day work requirements.
    • Must have basic computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft office suite software package.
    • Must be able to accurately document work progress and report repair status.
    • Must be able to work flexible work hours/days as needed to meet schedule.
    • Must be able to pass the required background checks for the position through the military and civilian systems. The ability to obtain a government Common Access Card (CAC).
    • Successful completion of the FMD9 course is a plus.
