  • Overview

    Louis Berger Services is looking for a proposal coordinator to support its Services operating company in our Greenville, SC office. You’ll be joining a business development team with a track record of major proposal successes.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinating and producing winning proposals, SOQs, and presentations for US government agencies, state and local governments and commercial industry
    • Working with engineering professionals to write effective resumes and project descriptions
    • Developing brochures and marketing collateral
    • Supporting business development and senior staff in coordinating strategy implementation.
    • Pipeline development and maintenance,
    • Proposal development from lead status to production and delivery
    • Coordination and development of content for marketing materials and proposals
    • Prepares proposal plans and capture documents to include, full proposal outline, schedules and compliance matrix.
    • Supports the Go/No Go process.
    • Coordinates preparation of all proposal files.
    • Oversees the proposal production of all volumes.
    • Reviews and edits proposal content for readability, consistency, clarity and compliance with requirements, minimizing style differences from multiple authors and contributors.
    • Coordinates proposal calendar to meet all deadlines outlined in the RFP.
    • Ensures all strategies and themes are integrated in the proposal document.
    • Coordinates storyboard development with authors and signs off completed storyboards prior to first draft writing.
    • Drives schedule and development of the proposal document.
    • Works closely with functional departments to obtain resources and information necessary to develop and finalize proposals.
    • Prepares documents for Color Team Reviews.
    • Gathers information on past project experience and develops key personnel resumes.
    • Assists in overall quality assurance for proposal and marketing materials.

    Qualifications

    • Detail oriented
    • Editing and proofreading skills
    • Basic-intermediate skills in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work productively under the pressure of tight deadlines
    • Business development experience, to include proposal writing and/or proposal management experience of competitive proposals for the Federal Government and/or private industry

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or two years of directly relevant experience
    • Significant experience with the Microsoft Word Suite
    • Ability to work in U.S. without company sponsorship

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing
    • Minimum of two years of experience in proposal/deliverable preparation and federal contracting
    • Shipley understanding a plus
    • Technical and/or operational experience on federal government contracts, engineering, logistics, fuels or aircraft programs is a major plus
