  • Overview

    The Sr Office Engineer will assist the Resident Engineer manage daily construction management and inspection which includes:

    Responsible for record keeping, payment entries, correspondence, compiling and delivering of required reports. Attend various project meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes.

    Review daily inspection reports and payment quantities in accordance with DDC requirements.

    Prepare Change Orders for overruns, changed conditions and additional work.

    Work with community liaison to inform public about upcoming work and potential impacts.

    Log and Coordinate with the designer to respond to Contractors’ submittals, RFI's and shop drawings.


    BS in Civil Engineering preferred. NICET IV or Equivalent Experience will be considered 

    OSHA 10 Hour Certification.

    Past experience with DDC working on storm and sanitary sewers, water mains and street restoration.

    Familiar with DDC policies and procedures for construction contract administration.

    Strong oral and written communication skills.

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
